Going through a spiritual awakening can be a difficult process. Suddenly it feels as if the illusion of this reality becomes visible. The blindfold is off.

You begin to see things differently.

You start to question everything. The system. School. Work. Politics. Hollywood. Fame. Fortune. It can begin to feel like all of it is fake, like you have stepped outside the script and can now see the stage set for what it really is.

With that realisation comes a wave of emotions. Confusion. Frustration. Sometimes even grief. You may feel a strange longing to return home to a place you cannot quite remember. You just know that wherever it is, it does not feel like here.

Suddenly going to work can feel meaningless. Following politics can seem pointless. Conversations that once interested you may now feel hollow. You begin to wonder what the point of it all really is.

That uncertainty can bring with it feelings of depression or desperation. You may find yourself wanting to spend less time around people, especially as you start noticing how often people lie, exaggerate, manipulate, or act out of ego. It can cut you deeply when you begin to see these patterns everywhere. Of course, not everyone is like this. But part of the awakening process is learning how to protect your energy.

At some point you may feel the urge to run off into the woods, disappear from society, and spend your days alone reflecting on this new understanding of reality.

But obviously, most of us cannot do that.

You still need to work. You still need to earn money. You still need to live your life. The challenge is learning how to exist in this world whilst seeing through much of the illusion around it.

The good news is that it is possible.

The first thing to remember is not to make any rash decisions. Keep going with your life for now. You do not need to throw everything away overnight. Secondly, give yourself some time each day to sit quietly in silence. Step away from distractions such as television and mobile phones. Use that time to reflect, think, or meditate if that is something that resonates with you. Thirdly, spend time in nature. Sit on a park bench for a while. Walk somewhere quiet. Find a secluded place and simply observe life unfolding around you. Nature has a way of grounding you when your mind begins to spiral.

Over time you will learn how to live with this new awareness. In fact, you may even discover that life becomes more interesting, not less.

You can still build a beautiful life here in the 3D world whilst knowing that much of it is a game. And with this new awareness, you can actually go deeper into the experience rather than withdrawing from it.

If you are awakening right now, try to see it as a gift. Most people will live and die without ever questioning the reality they were handed.

There may be a reason you are beginning to see things differently.

I work with people to help them navigate this process, and also teach more advanced techniques to expand their perception and personal power even further. Please do get in touch if you wish to discuss it further.
