Life: A Balancing Act

Spiritual awakening can be a confusing experience.
One day life feels fairly normal. You follow the routine most people follow. Work, social life, responsibilities, the occasional bit of fun along the way. Then something begins to shift inside you. Your perception starts to change and you begin to see the world in a different light.
Suddenly things that once seemed important no longer carry the same weight. The system, the structures of society, the expectations placed upon us from a young age. You begin to see that much of it is built on illusion. That realisation can feel liberating at first, but it can also be unsettling.
When the blindfold starts to slip away, many people feel a strong urge to detach from everyday life. Work can feel meaningless. Social conversations can feel shallow. You may even wonder how you are supposed to continue living normally when you see the world so differently.
But the truth is that it is entirely possible to live a full and meaningful life whilst developing your spiritual perception. Awakening does not mean you must abandon the world. It simply means you begin to understand it differently.
The key is balance.
You are here in this reality for a reason, and part of that reason is to experience life itself. The challenge is learning how to participate in the world without becoming completely consumed by it. You learn to play the game whilst understanding that it is, in many ways, a game.
This is where meaning becomes important.
People often ask what the meaning of life is. In my experience, the meaning of life is quite simple. It is to discover your meaning. To discover what genuinely excites you, what inspires you, and what brings a sense of fulfilment into your life.
What makes you happy?
What gives you energy rather than draining it?
Once you begin asking these questions honestly, you can start making small adjustments to how you live. You do a little more of the things that inspire you and a little less of the things that do not. Over time those small changes begin to stack up. Gradually you shape a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.
When you realise that much of this reality is illusion, it does not mean life becomes meaningless. If anything, it means you are free to create your life more consciously. You can choose the path that resonates with you rather than blindly following the one you were told to follow.
That is where the real balancing act begins.
Living fully in this world, whilst seeing beyond it.
